Our topic in Red and Yellow class this half term is ‘Ourselves’.

We have lots of new children joining us and we will be learning all about each other. We will be talking about what we like and don’t like, what we look like and all the things that make us unique. Our more familiar children will be helping to teach new children the routines within their class.

We will also be talking about our family and each class will be displaying family photos. If you have not yet given your key person a photo please email one to office@stedmundsbradford.org.uk.

Our core-story this half term is Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. This is a lovely story where three baby owls are feeling worried and scared when they can’t find their mum. Through this story we learn to talk about different feelings and this story also supports the concept that mummy always comes back.

On 2nd October we will be visited by some very special birds. Look out for your invite!
