Did you know that research shows children who stay a healthy weight tend to be fitter, healthier, better able to learn, and more self-confident? They're also much less likely to have health problems in later life. Children whose parents encourage them to be active and eat well are more likely to stay a healthy weight and grow up healthy. Join us during Healthy Living Week to find out how your family can be more healthy.
Monday 13th March 13:00-14:00
Lindsay, our chef, will demonstrate healthy recipes for you and your family.
Talk to staff and other parents about how you and your family can be healthy.
Health visitors available 9:00-11:00 and 13:00-15:00.
Tuesday 14th March - Keeping Active Day
Diddi Dance funky pre-school classes will be running throughout the day.
The children will join Rebecca for movement sessions throughout the day - see the Healthy Living Week timetable for session times.
Thursday 16th and Friday 17th March– Life Caravan
Come along on Thursday or Friday to meet Harold the Giraffe and find out more about healthy living at the Life Caravan.
Children from each room will be taking turns to visit the caravan and enjoy the different activities.
There are 2 special sessions for parents each day - see the Healthy Living Week timetable for session times.
Friday 17th March—Tatty Bumpkin—Yoga sessions
Tatty Bumpkins develops flexibility, enhances creativity, aids development and promotes well being.
Eat Together Week 13th - 17th March
If your child usually stays for lunch, come and enjoy a healthy lunch with them. The cost is £1.65 per adult. Please see the menu in the corridor for daily choices - book and pay at reception. Limited spaces available.
