Family support

It is recognised that families may face periods when they need additional support in order to maintain a stable, secure and happy home for their children. Families needing additional support may be referred by an external agency such as a Health Visitor, or may refer themselves.

Once a family has been referred for Family Support, they will be visited by a Family Support Worker to talk about what their needs are, and to draw up an action plan together.

Families referred for other children's centre services will be contacted by an Early Years Practitioner or a Community Engagement Worker.

Parents making a self-referral should come to the centre and ask to talk to one of the Family Support Workers, or call 01274 544922.
