January 2018 - Parental Involvement | St Edmund’s Nursery School and Children’s Centre

As usual there are lots of activities for families going on at St Edmund’s throughout the term that you are welcome to join in with – story time on Mondays 8.45 to 9.15am and Fridays 12.45 to 1.15pm and singing sessions on Wednesdays at 8.45am and 12.30pm. Please come and join in!

Important! To all parents/carers of children who will be 4 before August 31^st

Primary school admissions for September 2018 are due to be completed and returned by 15th January. If you still need support, please see reception staff.

Parents Together

Come along to meet other parents at our Parents Together session on Tuesday 9th January 9.00 - 11.30.

Sharing Stories

Sharing Stories is a chance for all parents/carers to come into nursery and take part in a special workshop with their children.

Red and Yellow Classes - 22nd and 29th January (Billy Goats Gruff)

Blue and Green Rooms - 5th and 12th March (Oh Dear)

Girlington Growers

Girlington Growers will be getting together once again on Saturday 3rd February 10.30 – 1.00, where we will have another tidy, planting session and refreshments. Bring your children for a great family get together, where we can continue keeping Girlington greener and cleaner.

World Book Day – Friday 2^nd March

Come with us to Waterstones in the city centre for special storytime, and to spend the book vouchers.

Healthy Living Week

Healthy Living Week will be held week beginning 19th March. Look out for events during the week.
