A number of staff, with very different roles, later explained their work and our students had chance to ask questions. The visit was very enjoyable and really helped our students, many who have little, or no experience in Early Years, to understand the principles underlying effective provision.
Upon return to college many students offered comments like, “I was impressed by the outdoor space and the resources in provision.” And, “the sensory room was my favourite space, it was amazing.” They recognised how the provision was inclusive and enjoyed watching children learning through play. The whole experience should prove a valuable foundation for their future learning and inform their practice. Bradford College would like to extend thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome.
