Dads' Club

Fathers and male carers have an important role to play in their children’s lives. We welcome dads and male carers to all our activities, but have also identified a need to have separate sessions just for dads, male carers and their children.

We have two practitioners who work specifically with dads and male carers (Qaiser and Hafeez). They co-ordinate a variety of different sessions that provide information, advice, support, and positive interventions across the cluster, including FRED (Fathers Reading Every Day) and a parenting course for dads.

We offer a monthly Saturday morning session at our children’s centres, as well as trips and special activities further afield. For dates please click here.

We would especially encourage Dads and male carers to come along to the following Stay and Play sessions where Qaiser and Hafeez will be attending:

· Monday 1.00 - 3.00: Allerton (Hafeez) and Crossley Hall (Qaiser)

· Tuesday 1.00 - 3.00: Farnham Road (Hafeez) and Thornton (Qaiser)

· Thursday 1.00 - 3.00: St Edmund’s (Hafeez or Qaiser)

· Friday 1.00 - 3.00: Lidget Green (Hafeez) and Princeville (Qaiser)
