E-Safety
At St Edmund's we teach children how to use computers safely as part of their everyday learning. We make sure all sites children access in nursery are safe and appropriate.
As a parent or carer, there are some simple things you can do at home too:
Keep the computer or tablet in a family area where you can see what your child is looking at
Use a filtering system to block unsuitable websites — your internet provider can help you set this up
Teach your child to always ask an adult before going online
Remind your child never to share personal details such as their name, age or address online
Make sure your child knows to come to you straight away if they see anything online that worries or upsets them
